My Pet - Toffee.....
Toffee, is a 5 year
old Chocolate Dapple Dachshund.
Toffee lives out in the
country near Kensington, Kansas.
She is spoiled
rotten, and definitely a part of the family. She runs
the household, and is very good at letting us know
what she wants. If she is out of food, she carries
her bowl into the dining room to let us know. If she
is cold, she wants a lap and a blanket. She sleeps at
night with mom and dad in the heated waterbed, under
the covers all snuggly and warm. |
| During
the day, Toffee has her own little snuggly bed and
blanket (see left). She goes to work with mom every
day, and runs the office too.
Toffee is happiest
when the whole family is together and she is safe and
secure in someone's lap.
She also loves her
toys of which she has a toy box full (more toys and
stuffed animals than the kids have!) Her favorite
treats are her carrot nylabones that she works very
hard to hide from everyone.... did you know nylabones
can be buried in a recliner? |

Toffee's other favorite past-time is sunbathing. We
have to keep the belly warm!
